Thankfully, Little Rock was spared in the round of tornadoes today, so I'm still here. Tomorrow should be an interesting day on the news--apparently there is quite a bit of carnage in other areas of the state, including Gassville and Atkins. And Clinton.
Clinton is a town I drive through on the way to my parents' house. D and I almost got stuck there last time on the way back to Little Rock during a freak snow storm. So, to hear that HWY 65 is shut down before and after Clinton is rather freaky.
Boy, I sure am glad that Huck cleaned out our Emergency Funds by destroying those state hard drives. Hopefully Beebe has built them back up a bit, as there are a lot of Arkansans who are going to need it. If you're in the state, this week would be a great time to donate some clothes, food, money, or blood to those hurt by today's storms. You can also find out how to donate at KARK.
