When I taught on ground, I often posted things on my office door--cartoons, articles of interest, and pictures. Since I only teach online these days, it seems logical to have a virtual office door where I can post these kinds of things.
The VE Blog tends to focus on work stuff (conferences and calls for papers) for online educators, but there are also pages for Podcasts for students, as well as more general student resources and also rubrics resources above.
